Bionic Soft Multimodal Actuators for Fast, Large Deformation under Ultralow Magnetic Conditions (Adv. Mater. Interfaces 17/2022)
Source abstract
Abstract
Bionic Soft Multimodal Actuators The biomimetic soft magnetic actuator demonstrates large deformations under extremely low magnetic fields (<1 mT). In article number 2200351 by Keren Dai, Wenling Zhang, and co-workers, the structural parameters are optimized featuring with desirable thresholds enabled by nonlinear mechanics modeling and simulation. Some applications of the actuators are provided, including fuse monitoring, and robotic grippers.
