Interfacial Instability as Shaping Mechanism for Polystyrene Particles with Tunable Surface Texture (Adv. Mater. Interfaces 16/2021)
Source abstract
Abstract
Polystyrene Particles with Tunable Surface In article number 2100628, Helena vom Stein and Dirk Volkmer report on a method for producing surface-textured polystyrene particles by freezing the nonequilibrium shape of deformed emulsion droplets, and show the variety of particle morphologies that is achieved by adjusting simple process parameters such as temperature, concentration, and time.
