Abstract

A new self-assembly process produces a highly organized mosaic of a few layers of graphene oxide nanoplatelets enabling membranes with ultra-high permeability and selectivity. In article number 2001985, Richard Rode, Saeed Moghaddam, and co-workers evaluate the membrane for hemodialysis, demonstrating two orders of magnitude improved permeability compared to typical polymer membranes.
