Abstract

Inhomogeneous spatial profiles of lipid structures on micropillars are due to preferential adsorption of unilamellar lipid vesicles from aqueous solution near the top of a micropillar array, coupled to diffusive transport of lipid bilayer fragments on the pillar sidewalls.
