Thin Films: Atomic Structure and Chemistry of Self‐Assembled Nanopillar Composite Oxides (Adv. Mater. Interfaces 13/2017)
Source abstract
Abstract
In epitaxial transition metal oxide thin films, the interfaces always play critical roles in controlling the physical properties. Xiumei Ma and co-workers reveal the atomic bonding and chemistry of self-assembled V2O3 and MnO nanopillars embedded in (LaSr)(MnV)O3 thin film matrix by using atomically resolved electron microscopy and spectroscopy in article number 1700225.
