Superwetting Composite Coatings: Multifunctional Superwetting Composite Coatings for Long‐Term Anti‐Icing, Air Purification, and Oily Water Separation (Adv. Mater. Interfaces 8/2020)
Source abstract
Abstract
In article number 2000013, Shanlin Wang, Youfa Zhang, and co-workers develop a two-layer strategy for improving the stability of superwetting composite coatings. The base layer shows high performance of mechanical properties by resin crosslinking and micro-particles strengthening, while the top layer of modified nanoparticles displays multi-functions. The coatings could be sprayed, dipped or brushed on various substrates for long-term self-cleaning, anti-icing, air purification and oily water separation.
