Abstract

A chemical vapor deposition process resulting in self-contacted as-grown 2D materials-based devices is described by Eric Stinaff and co-workers. The center of the cover shows an as-grown MoS2 based photodiode device. Clockwise, the top four images show optical, second harmonic generation, Raman, and photoluminescense (PL) analysis of the monolayer MoS2 forming the device. Clockwise, the bottom four images show PL intensity, PL peak position, and WS2 and MoS2 Raman intensity for heterostructured material grown using this process.
