Fiber Mats: Robustly Blood‐Inert and Shape‐Reproducible Electrospun Polymeric Mats (Adv. Mater. Interfaces 9/2015)
Source abstract
Abstract
Introducing specific surface functions in materials is highly desirable and can be achieved by different approaches. In article 1500065, Y.-L. Liu and co-workers demonstrate a convenient and scalable way of preparing highly robust electrospun polymeric mats with attractive properties, including non-protein absorption, high blood inertness and repellency, water-pinning ability, and shape reformability. The materials have potential for application in bioseparation. The inside front cover was designed by Hsieh-Yu Li.
