Abstract

In manuscript number 1701296, George W. Greene and co-workers demonstrate a lubricin based anti-adhesive coating for electrochemical sensors that enables amperometric/voltammetric measurements in highly fouling fluids with minimal loss in electrochemical activity. The diffuse nature of the lubricin coatings lead to size-selective transport properties and ensures the underlying electrode retains a large, “free” surface area for efficient charge transfer.
