Fabrication of High‐Efficiency (11%) Dye‐Sensitized Solar Cells in Backside Illumination Mode with Microstructures
Source abstract
Abstract
Novel backside-illumination dye-sensitized solar cells are fabricated utilizing high-aspect-ratio microstructures created by a colloidal lithography process assisted with reactive ion etching. They dramatically improve the charge collection efficiency as well as enhance the light-harvesting efficiency of the photoanode. A high solar cell efficiency of 11% is achieved, which is the highest efficiency reported in the literature.
