Abstract

Polyurethane and Silane In article 2300944, Nilgün Kızılcan and co-workers show that transparent and hydrophobic silane-based PU coatings with high flexibility and excellent scratch resistance is obtained using trimethoxysilylpropylcarbamoyloxyhexane (TMSCH) as silane-based additive. This study explores how the TMSCH content in the coating formula affects the surface and mechanical properties of the resulted coatings.
