A Unimolecular System Combining Efficient Inhibition of NDM‐1 by Coordination Interactions with High ROS for Synergistically Tackling Drug‐Resistant Bacteria (Adv. Mater. Interfaces 34/2022)
Source abstract
Abstract
Treating Drug-Resistant Bacteria A unimolecular probe-based synergistic strategy of NDM-1 activity inhibition combined with photodynamic therapy for tackling drug-resistant bacteria is reported in article number 2201329 by Yanli Tang and colleagues. The probe not only effectively inactivates NDM-1 by coordinating with one Zn ion of NDM-1 but also produces the high 1O2, presenting significant synergistic therapy to overcome E. coli-NDM-1 in vitro and in vivo.
