Bioinspired Polymeric Coating with Self‐Adhesion, Lubrication, and Drug Release for Synergistic Bacteriostatic and Bactericidal Performance (Adv. Mater. Interfaces 26/2022)
Source abstract
Abstract
Bioinspired Polymeric Coating A universal and facile multifunctional biomimetic coating with excellent self-adhesion, lubrication, and sustained drug release properties is designed in article number 2200561 by Haimang Wang, Xin Zhao, Hongyu Zhang, and co-workers. It is based on mussel-inspired catecholamine chemistry and articular cartilage hydration lubrication, which could be modified onto different substrates of biomedical devices for achieving synergistic bacteriostatic and antibacterial performances.
