Lignin Nanoparticles as an Interfacial Modulator in Tough and Multi‐Resistant Cellulose–Polycaprolactone Nanocomposites Based on a Pickering Emulsions Strategy (Adv. Mater. Interfaces 27/2022)
Source abstract
Abstract
Cellulose–Polycaprolactone Nanocomposites with Lignin Nanoparticles In article number 2200988, Erfan Kimiaei, Monika Österberg, and co-workers demonstrate a smart assembly of hydrophilic cellulose nanofibrils (CNFs) with hydrophobic polycaprolactone (PCL) by the aid of lignin nanoparticles as the interfacial modulator. Lignin nanoparticles provide additional interfacial noncovalent interactions between the components for even dispersion of PCL on CNF.
