Self‐Healing Surfaces: Flourishing Self‐Healing Surface Materials: Recent Progresses and Challenges (Adv. Mater. Interfaces 6/2020)
Source abstract
Abstract
Self-healing surface materials with durable mechanical, functional and structural properties have attracted enormous research interests, which exhibit great potential in energy conversion devices, sensors, electronic skins, superhydrophobic fabrics, medical/biological hydrogels, and protective coatings. In article number 1901959, Tie Chang, Fazil Panhwar and Gang Zhao summarize recent progress in self-healing surface materials. The contemporary challenges and the future perspectives are proposed for better design of diverse self-healing surface materials.
