Abstract

The emerging field of chemical vapor deposition (CVD) polymerization has addressed many challenges related to the sustainable development of energy, water, food, and medicine. K. K. Gleason and co-workers review in article 1400117 the research on initiated and oxidative CVD – solventfree methods that allow conformal and substrateindependent growth of functional polymer interfaces. Simplicity and versatility of these processes is depicted by the blue line coating.
