Self‐Healing Superhydrophobic Surfaces: Self‐Healing Superhydrophobic Surfaces: Healing Principles and Applications (Adv. Mater. Interfaces 12/2021)
Source abstract
Abstract
Inspired by the self-healing behavior of natural plants and animals, self-healing superhydrophobic surfaces have been developed to improve the durability and prolong the lifetime, which can further broaden the practical applications of superhydrophobic surfaces. In article number 2100247, Siyuan Xiang and Wendong Liu review the basic healing principles of self-healing superhydrophobic surfaces together with their typical applications.
