Abstract

Bioinspired Supramolecular Electronics In article number 2401678, Peng Xiu, Dingyi Pan, Kai Tao, and co-workers develop bioinspired tactile sensors by programming peptide hydrogelation, thus developing peptide self-assembly of modulatable features for in vivo and in situ monitoring. This is a fundamental step towards providing natural and intuitive control over prosthetic devices, robotics, wearable and implantable devices etc., enabling users to interact with their environment in a more seamless and efficient manner, potentially paving the way for the realization of integrated detection platforms with flexible modulations and haptic sensing capabilities along with biocompatibility.
