Abstract

Zener Tunneling In article number 2110044, Xian-Min Jin and co-workers report the realization of highly controllable Zener tunneling for protecting photonic coherence. The excited photonic states flow collectively along the energy band due to almost-total Zener tunneling, below which the excited states on the lattice materials undergo a directionally oscillating trajectory, directly associated with the above energy band. These results represent a step toward flexible quantum engineering for large-scale artificial quantum materials.
