Nanoparticle‐Based Electrodes: Nanoparticle‐Based Electrodes with High Charge Transfer Efficiency through Ligand Exchange Layer‐by‐Layer Assembly (Adv. Mater. 51/2020)
Source abstract
Abstract
Suitable surface design of energy nanoparticles, including the removal and/or exchange of bulky organic ligands, enables easy charge transfer at the interfaces between neighboring nanoparticles within a nanocomposite electrode, thereby improving the energy efficiency of the device. In article number 2001924, Jinhan Cho and co-workers review recent progress on the ligand-engineering-based nanoparticle assembly approach. The moment when the native bulky ligands are exchanged by small-molecule linkers and subsequently deposited on a textile substrate is depicted.
