Abstract

The leveraging of light to program the chiro-optical properties of mesogenic soft helical architectures is a thriving topic in both fundamental science and application engineering. In article 1905318, Zhi-Gang Zheng, Yan-Qing Lu, and Quan Li review the current state of the art of these fascinating photoprogrammable helical architectures for chiro-optics, which should brighten the path toward next-generation photonics.
