Abstract

The micro/nanofolding technique has great advantages in transferring a 2D film to a 3D structure, which is a combination of traditional planar techniques and novel fabrication skills. The basic principle of the folding process, the recent progress in developing different folding technologies, and their valuable applications in various frontier fields are summarized by Junjie Li, Changzhi Gu, and co-workers in article number 1802211.
