Nanovaccines: Multistaged Nanovaccines Based on Porous Silicon@Acetalated Dextran@Cancer Cell Membrane for Cancer Immunotherapy (Adv. Mater. 7/2017)
Source abstract
Abstract
In article 1603239, Flavia Fontana, Hélder A. Santos, and co-workers develop an innovative cancer nanovaccine by merging the adjuvant properties of the nanoparticles produced by nanoprecipitation in a microfluidic glass capillary device with high reproducibility, together with a biomimetic source of antigens derived from cancer-cell membranes. The nanovectors induce maturation of antigen-presenting cells and secretion of pro-inflammatory cytokines in vitro.
