Abstract

Considering the outstanding physical/chemical properties of graphene and related materials, Y.-L. Zhang, H.-B. Sun, and co-workers report on page 332 a self-controlled photoreduction of graphene oxide (GO) for the preparation of GO/RGO bilayer paper as a robust stimuli-responsive material that shows controllable actuation under humid conditions. As typical examples, novel graphene-based moisture-responsive smart actuators, including a smart claw, an orientable transporter and a crawler paper robot are demonstrated in this paper.
