Abstract

A variety of gold nanostructures is fabricated using a novel fabrication approach that combines direct laser writing and electron-beam lithography. While preserving the nanoscopic feature sizes achievable with electron-beam lithography, this approach allows the realization of out-of plane metallic nanostructures, and thereby opens up new opportunities for metamaterials, nanoantennas, and nanoplasmonics. More details can be found in the article by Isabelle Staude and co-workers on page 1260.
