Abstract
Tailored Nanostructure-Dominated SPP Effects for SERS In article number 2303001 by Peipei Chen, Weiguo Chu, and co-workers, the combination of surface plasmon polaritons and localized surface plasmon resonance effects is proposed and discussed for quantitative design of particular nanostructures of surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) sensors with possible easy batch manufacture for effective and efficient detection of targets with sizes from sub-nanometers to tens of nanometers. This would innovate the conventional recognition about SERS sensors and thus endow SERS sensors with adequate animation.
