Abstract

Organized, coordinated research efforts into organic superconductors, centered around the groups in Orsay (France) and Copenhagen (Denmark) have resulted in considerable progress in the field. The European Commission (DC XIII) set up a consortium in 1989 involving Denmark's Portugal and France to further exploit cooperative links. The consortium is known as MOL‐COM, from MOLecular COmponents for Microelectronics and its activities and achievements are described by two of its leading participants.
