Nanoparticles: Large Pore‐Sized Hollow Mesoporous Organosilica for Redox‐Responsive Gene Delivery and Synergistic Cancer Chemotherapy (Adv. Mater. 10/2016)
Source abstract
Abstract
Large-pore-sized hollow mesoporous organosilica nanoparticles (HMONs) are successfully synthesized by Y. Chen, Y. Li, J. Shi, and co-workers, as described on page 1963, using a stability-difference-based selective bond breakage (SD-SBB) strategy. Furthermore, surface-functionalized HMONs are constructed to concurrently deliver P-gp modulator siRNA and the anticancer drug DOX to reverse the multidrug resistance of cancer cells.
