Patterning: Controllable Printing Droplets for High‐Resolution Patterns (Adv. Mater. 40/2014)
Source abstract
Abstract
On page 6950, Y. L. Song and co-workers review recent advances in precise control of printing droplets for high-resolution patterns and 3D structures, with a focus on development to suppress the coffee-ring effect and minimize the features of printed dots or lines. In a typical strategy, multifarious regular patterns with an average width of 5–10 μm are directly inkjet-printed by utilizing the coffee-ring effect. This non-lithographic approach opens a new way for inkjet printing of high-resolution patterns and electronic devices.
