Organic-Guest/Microporous-Host Composite Materials Obtained by Diffusion from a Supercritical Solution
Source abstract
Abstract
Diffusion from supercritical CO2 into porous zeolite is demonstrated to be an effective method for incorporating organic compounds into the zeolite's open framework. The advantages of supercritical fluid technology over conventional techniques are described, which include enhanced transport coefficient values. The Figure shows the hydrothermally precipitated aluminophosphate hydrate, VPI-5, used in the investigation.
