Abstract

Biofuel Cells In article number 2304986, Minchul Kang, Cheong Hoon Kwon, Jinhan Cho, and co-workers present a mediator-free biofuel cell boasting remarkable performance through interfacial interaction-induced assembly. For this, conductive indium tin oxide nanoparticles with unique shapes are assembled with glucose oxidase on conductive fibers. In addition to this assembly approach, the multi-ply process applied to these fiber electrodes significantly increases the active surface area of the electrode, resulting in a biofuel cell with unprecedented high-power output.
