An Integrally Formed Janus Hydrogel for Robust Wet‐Tissue Adhesive and Anti‐Postoperative Adhesion (Adv. Mater. 23/2023)
Source abstract
Abstract
Hydrogel Bioadhesive In article number 2300394, Tao Liu, Zhenzhen Liu, and co-workers propose a facile strategy to construct an asymmetrically adhesive hydrogel bioadhesive in one-step. The difference in adhesive strength achieved is as high as 20 times that between the two sides of one hydrogel, attaining one-sided robust adhesion to wet tissue, simultaneously preventing post-operative adhesion for the opposite side.
