Core–Shell Nanoparticles: Design of Bistable Gold@Spin‐Crossover Core–Shell Nanoparticles Showing Large Electrical Responses for the Spin Switching (Adv. Mater. 27/2019)
Source abstract
Abstract
The preparation of spherical core–shell nanoparticles formed by a gold core and an ultrathin layer of a spin crossover coordination polymer (4 nm thick) is described by Marc Coronado-Puchau, Mónica Giménez-Marqués, Eugenio Coronado, and co-workers in article number 1900039. The optimal deposition into an electrical device reveals high electrical responses and memory effects in the conductance upon spin-state switching, operating at technologically relevant conditions.
