Ultrasensitive Molecular Fingerprint Retrieval Using Strongly Detuned Overcoupled Plasmonic Nanoantennas (Adv. Mater. 32/2023)
Source abstract
Abstract
Plasmonic Nanoantennas In article number 2301787, Dongxiao Li, Hong Zhou, Chengkuo Lee, Xiaojing Mu, and co-workers propose a design strategy for single-pixel modulation-free plasmonic nanoantennas based on loss engineering. This strategy allows a single device to enhance and capture full and complex fingerprint vibrations in the mid-infrared range. With the aid of machine learning, the device successfully detects and distinguishes the absorption fingerprints of various molecules.
