Abstract

In article 1803194, Zhongfan Liu, Hailin Peng, and co-workers present the fabrication of high-performance flexible graphene/PbI2/graphene sandwiched photodetectors, based on the scalable synthesis of a vertically stacked heterojunction of PbI2/graphene on a flexible plastic film (poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET)). By attaching two pieces of PbI2/graphene/PET film face-to-face via a simple encapsulation method, the device-fabrication process meets the requirements of high efficiency, scalability, and low cost, showing great potential for future practical applications.
