Cancer Therapy: Transforming Weakness into Strength: Photothermal‐Therapy‐Induced Inflammation Enhanced Cytopharmaceutical Chemotherapy as a Combination Anticancer Treatment (Adv. Mater. 5/2019)
Source abstract
Abstract
Yu the Great, in Chinese mythology, was a hero who tamed a flood that ravaged ancient China. He turned the devastating floods into farmland water for irrigation. As reported by Zhigui Su, Can Zhang, and co-workers in article number 1805936, neutrophils (NEs) as cyto-pharmaceuticals can play the role of Great Yu, transforming the evil of photothermal-therapy-induced inflammation into the angel of chemotherapy, ultimately benefiting the synergistic strategy for targeted cancer therapy.
