Abstract

Electrode materials are key components for electrocatalytic CO2 reduction (ECR) systems. In article number 1903796, Yuehe Lin, Jun-Jie Zhu, and co-workers describe recent progress regarding cathodic heterogeneous catalysts coupling with photoanode/bioanode materials from the perspective of improving the conversion efficiency and energy utilization efficiency of the whole system. They also provide an outlook for the cross-study of cathodic catalysts and anodic materials in future ECR systems.
