Abstract

Meta-Lenses In their Research Article (DOI: 10.1002/adma.202508453), Xue-Feng Zhu, Fei Li, Hai-Rong Zheng, and colleagues developed an innovative super-resolution ultrasound meta-lens. Through comprehensive parameter optimization, the lens successfully overcame the diffraction limit. Furthermore, the team enhanced its longitudinal resolution via frequency-domain reconstruction. This work challenges the conventional view that meta-lens inherently suffer from limited longitudinal resolution and demonstrates considerable potential for applications in functional ultrasound imaging.
