Abstract

A superhydrophobic and electrically conductive thin film coating with a honeycomb-like structure was fabricated through solvent casting of multiwalled carbon nanotubes dispersed in a conjugated block copolymer solution. The coating can be used for sensing of different volatile organic vapors with excellent selectivity. In contrast to pure conductive polymers, the nanocomposite film is completely inert toward moisture interference.
