Abstract

To imbue traditional plastics with self‐healing attributes akin to living organisms, it is essential to judiciously constitutional dynamic chemistry and adopt precise topological structure designs during the synthesis of repairable plastics. Furthermore, their practical application demands enhancement of their mechanical properties, particularly toughness. Thus, this review encapsulates the existing work and accomplishments in the domain of high‐performance healable plastics by focusing on three main aspects: topological structures, constitutional dynamic chemistry, and strategies for toughening. image
