Passivation Layers in Lithium and Sodium Batteries: Potential Profiles, Stabilities, and Voltage Drops
Source abstract
Abstract
DOI: 10.1002/adfm.202100938 In the above mentioned publication potential profiles of a battery are given as Figure 2. The authors supply a more appropriate version that differs in the course of the electric potential (ϕ). In Figure 2 of the Adv. Funct. Mater. article, jumps in the electric potential ϕ at the contacts are included which would presuppose interfacial charging. The figure only differs from Figure 2 in only showing monotonic ϕ-profiles. (The authors acknowledge Dr. Davide Moia for drawing attention to this inconsistency.) This point does not affect the conclusions of the report. The authors apologize for any inconvenience caused.
