Ionic Liquids: Printed Capacitive Sensors Based on Ionic Liquid/Metal‐Organic Framework Composites for Volatile Organic Compounds Detection (Adv. Funct. Mater. 25/2021)
Source abstract
Abstract
In article number 2010703, Eduardo Fernandez, Stefan Wuttke, Roberto Fernández de Luis, and co-workers create a 2D printed capacitive gas sensor based on a metal-organic framework (MOF)/ionic liquid (IL) composite material. Encapsulation of the IL within porous MOFs leads to solid porous ionic conductors that exhibit fast and repetitive electrical responses upon gas adsorption. The MOF/ IL integration into the 2D printed transductor is easy and potentially scalable.
