Abstract

Dynamic Bottlebrush Materials In article number 2200883, Craig J. Hawker, Javier Read de Alaniz, Christopher M. Bates, and co-workers develop a novel resin for digital light processing to 3D print super-soft and dynamic materials. The key resin ingredient is α-lipoic acid, which copolymerizes with acrylate crosslinkers. Printing these resins generates super-soft bottlebrush polymer networks containing disulfide bonds that facilitate reprocessing and self-healing with heat or light.
