Abstract

The balance of Ir oxidation states between 3+ and 4+ is crucial to the stability of Ir oxide-based oxygen evolution reaction (OER) catalysts. In article number 2003935, ll Choi, Kwangyeol Lee, and co-workers directly link the Pt doping level and mode of Ir oxide to the stability of Ir catalysts. The cover depicts the Pt-doped IrOx-based nanoframe as a stable OER catalyst under acidic conditions, which produces green hydrogen via electrolytic water splitting.
