Abstract
The DFG Priority Program SPP 1959 is a globally unique, coordinated large-scale research project funded for a period of about six years. SPP 1959 extends the current state of knowledge on the manipulation or adaptation of material microstructures by the application of external fields. One objective is the unified description of the matter transport activated in inorganic solids by electric and magnetic fields.
