Abstract
The influence of texture on the electromagnetic properties of polycrystals is reviewed in the article number 1700827 by Luis E. Fuentes-Cobas and co-workers. Mathematical and computational tools for estimating effective coupling coefficients are provided. The cover image represents the evolution of the magnetostriction anisotropy in a virtual galfenol sample as its texture evolves from a randomly oriented polycrystal to a single crystal.
