Thermophysical Properties of Advanced Ni‐Based Superalloys in the Liquid State Measured on Board the International Space Station
Source abstract
Abstract
Thermophysical properties of Nickel based superalloys in their liquid phase are measured under microgravity on board the international space station. This highly accurate data is used for casting models and simulations that assist the production of advanced, energy efficient turbines.
