Abstract

The cover shows Ti48Al48Cr2Nb2 after casting and 70% forging at 1000°C: TEM orientation maps. The upper part left describes recrystallized shear bands and the right part recovered γ lamellar bands, the white grains correspond to the α2 phase. At the lower part, direction parallel to the tangential direction to the ingot is shown.
