Patterning Ceramic Surfaces by Colloidal Isopressing
Source abstract
Abstract
Colloidal Isopressing is a new shape forming method, in which a pre-consolidated slurry is injected into an elastomeric mold and isopressed to rapidly convert the slurry into an elastic body that can be removed from the mold without shape distortion. Inthis report the authors demonstrate that sub-micron surface features can be produced on poly(dimethylsiloxane) (PDMS) molds by colloidal isopressing.
