Combining Cooling Enhancement and Trehalose Dehydration to Enable Scalable Volume Cryopreservation of Red Blood Cells with Low Concentration of Glycerol
Source abstract
Abstract
The study of human red blood cells cryoproservation is represented by Gang Zhao, Xilin Ouyang, and co-workers in the article number 2200835. PTFE tubes with good thermal conductivity and trehalose dehydration are combined to propose a feasible and straightforward method for scalable cryopreservation of human red blood cells.
